Conosciamo Blevio e il Festival – Swing Breeze Festival

Che Swing Breeze non sia un festival come gli altri, ve ne accorgerete molto presto: sono tante le caratteristiche che lo rendono unico, ad iniziare dal luogo che lo ospita.

Blevio: un piccolo ed elegante paese di 1200 anime che si affaccia sul lago. Raggiungerlo è già poesia: una brevissima crociera sul lago (15 minuti) vi permetterà di arrivare alla location. Lasciate a Como la macchina, ne varrà la pena, vedrete
Il festival non sarà tra 4 mura! Si svolgerà in massima parte all’aperto e nella natura. Questo vuol dire che avremo un panorama mozzafiato, prenderemo il sole, sentiremo il vento e che potremo anche prendere la pioggia (siamo attrezzati, tranquilli!)
E’ un festival sul lago e nel lago si può (si DEVE!) fare il bagno! Ci saranno vari accessi al lago per fare un tuffo in qualsiasi momento (anche a mezzanotte, vedrete): non dimenticatevi il costume da bagno!
E’ un festival attivo! Ci saranno camp, serate, competizioni, show e, per chi vorrà, grazie alle convenzioni attivate, ci sarà anche la possibilità di praticare sport d’acqua (wakeboard, sci d’acqua, canoa, etc) e girare in Vespa. Numerosi anche i sentieri di montagna da percorrere!

E c’è anche qualcosa che, invece, allo Swing Breeze non troverete!

Ad esempio, non troverete traffico (se arrivate in battello 😊 ) perchè l’area del festival sarà completamente pedonale
Non troverete un turismo di massa: Blevio è piccola e silenziosa (serate a parte) e non può accogliere milioni di persone. Il festival idem, i posti saranno limitati: Swing Breeze è un festival per pochi fortunati 😊
Non troverete una pista grande come un campo da calcio. Lo spazio per ballare è di 100 mq, ma in compenso avrete una vista decisamente impareggiabile.
Non troverete grandi negozi, bancomat e centri commerciali: a Blevio troverete solo piccoli stand per mangiare, per il vostro look e un ristorante d’eccezione. Se poi volete, nella vicinissima Como potrete trovare negozi, centri commerciali, pub, monumenti e altre attrazioni. Poi però in serata ci si vede a Blevio!

What to expect from Swing Breeze

Swing Breeze is not a festival like others: there are many features that make it unique and special starting from the location.

Blevio: a small and elegant town (1.200 inhabitants) overlooking the lake. Reaching Blevio is itself a romantic experience: a brief cruise on the lake (15 minutes) will allow you to get to the festival location. Leave the car in Como, it will be worth it
The Festival will mostly take place outdoors and in nature. This means that we will enjoy a breathtaking view all the time, we will enjoy sun, lake breeze but we can also catch the rain (don’t worry we are well organized for that)
It’s a festival on the lake and in the lake you can (you MUST!) take a dip! There are various accesses to the lake and you can take a dip at any time (even at midnight!): don’t forget your swimsuit!
It’s a very dynamic festival: you will find dance camps, parties, competitions, shows and, thanks to some special agreements, there will also be the possibility of practicing water sports (wakeboarding, water skiing, canoeing, etc.) and riding on a Vespa. There are also many mountain trails to go!

There’s also something you won’t find at Swing Breeze!

For example, you won’t find traffic (if you get there by boat 🙂 ) because the festival area will be completely pedestrian
You will not find mass tourism: Blevio is small and silent (evenings apart) and cannot accommodate millions of people. Same things for the festival: workshop and parties have limited availability: Swing Breeze is a festival for the lucky few
the dancefloor is not as big as a football field. The space for dancing is 100 square meters, but on the other hand you will have a definitely unparalleled view
You will not find large shops, cash points and shopping centers: in Blevio you will find many eating stands and a high quality restaurant. If you have special needs, in Como (very close city) you can find shops, malls, pubs, monuments and other attractions.
