Competitions
Quest’anno ad animare il festival non ci saranno solo insegnanti internazionali, band strepitose e ballerini scatenati da tutto il mondo, il programma di Swing Breeze 2019 prevede anche due competizioni: Mix’n Match e la 1 minute Challenge.
This year there won’t be only international teachers, amazing bands and dancers from all around the world…. the Swing Breeze 2019 program also includes two great competitions: Mix’n Match and 1 minute Challenge.

Mix’n Match
Max 20 coppie, min 6 coppie– 20 couples max, 6 couples min.
I partecipanti ballano Lindy Hop in coppia, con vari partner scelti a caso durante la competizione. La gara si svolgerà in due fasi: preliminari e finale. Alle preliminari partecipano tutti gli iscritti, si balleranno 3 canzoni con velocità crescente. Alla finale, a cui accederanno solo alcuni dei partecipanti scelti dai giudici, si procederà con un ballo comune ai finalisti e a uno spotlight dove ogni coppia potrà esibirsi da sola davanti al pubblico e ai giudici.
Participants dance with random partners. The competitions is divided in two phases: preliminary and final. During the first phase, participants will dance 3 songs with increasing speed. During the second phase, which will be accessed only by some of the participants chosen by the judges, finalists will first dance all together and then in spotlight, where each couple performs alone in front of the public and the judges.
Requisiti / Requirements
- Il livello sarà unico e open
- Ogni partecipante dovrà aver partecipato a qualche altra competizione di ballo locale, nazionale o internazionale
- Level: Open
- Participant must have participated in other local, national or international dance competition
L’organizzazione si riserva la possibilità di escludere qualche partecipante al fine di una maggiore uniformità globale della competizione.

1 Minute Challenge
Max 10 shows, min 5 shows
I partecipanti devono esibirsi ballando ciò che desiderano purché a tema swing (solo Jazz, coreografie di Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, Blues, Boogie, Chorus Line, Cabaret, Trio, etc). Si avrà a disposizione una sola esibizione e alla fine di tutti gli show i giudici decreteranno il vincitore.
Participants must perform dancing whatever they want as long as they the performance has a swing theme (solo, Lindy Hop coreo, Balboa, Shag, Blues, Boogie, Chorus Line, Cabaret, Trio, etc). The coreo will be performed just once, at the end of all shows the judges will decide the winner.

- Gruppi da 1 a 12 persone
- Choreography duration: 1 minute (15 seconds tolerance)
